November 2018:

Food and Clothing Drive at Pivot Charter School San Diego

Our Student Council is launching Pivot’s very first food and clothing drive. We will have bins to collect food and clothing donations from Monday, November 5th through Friday, November 16th.  Food donations will benefit the San Diego Food Bank, and all clothing that we collect will benefit Doors of Change, a local nonprofit serving homeless youth.  With the winter/holiday season just around the corner, there will be more need in these organizations, so this is our chance to give back to our community!

Here is a list of most needed items, but anything you can provide (besides home-made food products and items in glass jars) would be accepted and greatly appreciated!

Most Needed Food Items:
Canned Chicken & Tuna
Dry & Canned Beans
Nuts & Seeds
Peanut Butter
Canned Soup
Canned & Dried Fruit
Canned Vegetables
Powdered Milk
Infant Formula

Most Needed Clothing Items:
Men’s jeans
Long-sleeved shirts
Unused underwear
Sleeping bags
Women’s pants size 4-10
