Lucas Elbaum, Pivot’s English Language Development Teacher, has been part of the Pivot family for only a short while, but he brings global experience and expertise to serve our students. 

Pivot Riverside ninth-grader Isabella Cuesta has found immense support and flexibility in her schooling as she simultaneously pursues college courses while being a high school student. Isabella has always loved challenging herself and exploring opportunities to expand her horizon, and, at Pivot, she can do just that.

Perseverance, Readiness, Inclusivity, Dedication and Excellence. These are the traits that make up the new student empowerment program, Pivot P.R.I.D.E.! Pivot Charter Schools’ P.R.I.D.E. program was created to build student confidence and culture across the school’s four campuses throughout California. 

At Pivot, students have the option to take concurrent or dual enrollment courses while still being traditional high school students. Concurrent enrollment allows students to sign up for any 100-level college courses, in which they can receive college credit through their local community college. Dual enrollment, on the other hand, gives students the chance to earn college and high school credit at the same time by a unique partnership with Santa Rosa Junior College, which is available to all Pivot students no matter where one is located.
